Beaudesert Revitalisation stages the way for the future

The reginal heart of The Scenic Rim is undergoing a major revitalisation, with a new main street, civic park and an events precinct.

Current progress on the Beaudesert Town Centre works includes a new Main Street, relocation of an CWA meeting hall, and a new civic amenities building.

A unique events area features a stage and events pavilion designed to complement the adjacent heritage railway building.

A new civic park features two yarning circles and interpretive gardens and paths that also celebrate the historic rail precinct.

A curving series of terrace walls provide an amphitheatre, reflecting the forms of the Scenic Rim landscape, will feature art built in projects made by local and indigenous artists.

Over 250 advanced native trees are to be planted in the precinct, transforming the currently hot streetscapes into a shady and welcoming town centre.
