A new house was built on a slope facing a waterway parkland, and aims to ‘borrow’ the gully landscape. A Ha-Ha planter seamlessly allows the living room to view down to the pool and garden. The miniature courtyard garden provides a modern subtropical setting with gravel gardens and ferneries. The house and garden have won awards and featured in Houses and House and Garden publications.
