A unique garden which highlights subtropical Queensland. The unusual approaches and level changes to the garden provided opportunity to create mystery and reveal views along the journey. Plantings are designed to dramatize view-points and to reveal the borrowed landscape of West End. A pool, courtyard and various pavilions were renovated. Garden plantings are inspired by Burle Marx tropical urbanism.
