Penguin Foreshore Park gets a facelift

Penguin is a beautiful seaside village on Tasmania’s North Coast, famous for its fairy Penguins, its friendly beachfront village and for its flowering verge gardens.

John Mongard Landscape Architects improved the town entries and built park and streetscape works during the 1090’s, and then recently returned to develop a whole-of- town masterplan for the village and the foreshore. The first main street improvements to be built from this new plan incorporate a new nautical play space and footpath and park improvements in the heart of the village.

The play space is designed for smaller children and is already popular with both residents and visitors and provides a wonderful place to enjoy the elevated view of the ocean.
