Beaudesert’s heritage station and line terminated the old regional rail system in this rural district. The station and railhead are the inspiration for a new civic precinct incorporating a meandering amphitheatre and an events pavilion.
The new parklands feature over 250 advanced native trees which will create a green shady space in oncoming years. Indigenous artworks and interpretation feature in the gardens, reflecting the town’s important role as a meeting place both past and present.
