Wauchope gets a Make-over
Wauchope is a traditional Main Street which was located on a state highway and became part of a growth corridor. Traffic congestion and pedestrian safety were concerns on this busy street. Residents wanted to create a more welcoming character with references to Wauchope ‘s timber heritage. The streetscape is now established.
A year long streetscape planning project by JMLA and funded by the NSW Roads authority led to the creation of safe and green pedestrian crossings and streetscapes.
