Waterfronts and Lakes

Water is a primary element in the Australian landscape. Water systems determine landscape and ecologies. We aim to harvest, store and contain water on each site, and to celebrate its passage in the process. Every site can use its own water and every building can sustain a landscape by harvesting roof water. We harvest every infrastructure opportunity to create closed-loop energy and waste systems.

We have restored and improved coastal and inland waterfronts and lakes throughout Australia, from riverfront towns in Tasmania, through to sensitive beach fronts in Queensland. Our boardwalks and trails along these waterfronts are designed to create enduring and sensitive experiences.
